Joe’s Famous™ coffee uses a unique recipe roast known as a Small-Batch “second crack” roast or medium-high roast in the coffee industry. This is an exact process where our Colombian Master Roasters apply the exact amount of energy or heat during the 14-minute roast so we may capture all the sugar, caramel and chocolate flavors naturally found in Joe´s Famous™ Colombian coffee. Our precision roast levels help us minimize the acidity and the grassy flavors that sometimes appear in a light roast.
